On the 6th-7th February in Geelong, AEMG Education hosted our annual Hand in Hand Workshop for Global Partner Universities. Over 150 delegates from around the world attended to discuss the opportunities and challenges of global collaboration and education.

The theme for 2025 was “Partnering for the Future: Working together to transform global education collaboration”. Discussions included the significance of China for university internationalisation strategies, navigating change, transnational innovation, and outcome driven TNE. These discussions provided attendees with expert insights into the current landscape of international education.

The workshop provided ample opportunities for networking, with attendees participating in roundtable discussions and one-on-one meetings. These interactions fostered meaningful connections and laid the groundwork for future collaborations.  

Congratulations to our inaugural Global Partner of the Year award winners – the University of South Australia, University of technology Sydney, and Ulster University, as well as inaugural New Partner of the Year award winner, the University of Canterbury.

This event was a wonderful opportunity to be surrounded by likeminded friends and colleagues. We cannot wait to see everyone again at Hand in Hand 2026 in New Zealand
