AEMG Education is a global education company founded in Australia, specialising in international education and talent development. The Academic Affairs division leads the overall design, delivery and quality assurance of AEMG’s academic programs. It oversees academic operations, student experience, and partner academic engagement, ensuring programs meet both internal and external academic and compliance standards. The Academic Affairs Division consists of the following departments:
Registrar Office
The Registrar Office oversees academic records, student registration, timetabling and course progression, ensuring academic administration aligns with partner university standards and regulatory compliance.
Cloud Campus
Cloud Campus is AEMG’s digital academic platform, supporting both online program delivery and integrated academic operations. The department is responsible for system development, digital pedagogy, platform support, content management & delivery.
Academic Operations
Academic Operations manages the implementation and coordination of academic programs across delivery locations, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning outcomes and alignment with global partner requirements.
Student Success
The Student Success team supports the learning journey and wellbeing of AEMG students through academic guidance, engagement initiatives and pastoral care, with a focus on retention, satisfaction and outcomes.
Graduate Institute
The Graduate Institute focuses on supporting graduates from AEMG programs. It builds alumni networks, develops pathways to further study or employment and facilitates transition into global opportunities.
Registered Training Organisation
The RTO division is a nationally recognised training body responsible for the delivery of vocational education and training (VET) programs. It ensures compliance with ASQA standards and industry requirements.
Quality & Compliance
The Quality & Compliance team ensures academic and regulatory compliance across all education delivery, managing audits, policy standards, partner agreements and risk controls to maintain academic integrity and accreditation.
The Global Partnership Director is responsible for the strategic management and operational coordination of AEMG’s partnerships with global partner institutions. Reporting to the Executive Director – External Engagement, the role supports global partner engagement, collaborative program development and student transfer initiatives in alignment with AEMG’s transnational education goals.
This position serves as the key liaison between AEMG and its partner universities, ensuring the successful delivery of partnership agreements and acting as the on-the-ground representative for BD&E activities.
1. Strategic Partnership Management
▪ Maintain and grow high-quality relationships with designated partner universities & regions.
▪ Identify and develop new partnership opportunities, including joint programs and articulation arrangements.
▪ Provide leadership in the negotiation and finalisation of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with AEMG’s academic, commercial and compliance objectives.
▪ Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen partnership governance, performance, and long-term sustainability.
2. Business Development & Program Innovation
▪ Identify and evaluate new product and program opportunities in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
▪ Support the development and approval of new programs through liaison with institutional and regulatory bodies.
▪ Lead partnership performance improvement initiatives including expansion of program models or delivery formats.
▪ Contribute to the development and implementation of AEMG’s five-year strategic plan and annual business plans.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
▪ Represent AEMG in meetings, academic boards, planning sessions and joint committees with partner institutions.
▪ Establish and maintain appropriate communication channels with university stakeholders at all levels.
▪ Collaborate with Melbourne, China-based & regional teams to support delegation visits, event planning, and strategic alignment.
▪ Attend national and international forums and conferences to represent AEMG and strengthen visibility in the education sector.
4. Project Leadership & Team Collaboration
▪ Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to deliver partnership-based projects and pilot programs.
▪ Work closely with the academic, legal, registrar and marketing teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
▪ Ensure continuous improvement in the development and execution of partnership-related documents, including proposals and business cases.
5. Reporting, Compliance & Quality Assurance
▪ Provide regular updates on partnership health, academic performance and financial impact.
▪ Ensure all partnership agreements and activities comply with institutional and regulatory standards.
▪ Maintain oversight of partnership documentation, renewals and key deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in international education
Demonstrated experience in partnership management or stakeholder engagement within the higher education or international education sectors
Knowledge of the Australian tertiary education system and familiarity with transnational education models
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and navigate cross-cultural contexts
High-level written and verbal communication skills, including formal correspondence and reporting
Ability to work independently while collaborating across internal teams and external partners
