The Australia Institute of Future Education (AIFE) is a TEQSA certified higher education provider delivering innovative programs through partnerships with universities, government bodies and industry globally. We design and deliver programs that prepare learners for a rapidly changing workforce and global academic environment.
Our Academic Affairs Division oversees program design, quality assurance, academic operations, student experience and partner engagement.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a leader with experience across the full cycle of curriculum development. You will guide programs from concept development through regulatory requirements, implementation, review and continuous enhancement. This role shapes high quality globally aligned programs and ensures AIFE remains responsive to sector trends, academic integrity challenges and the impact of technologies including AI. In addition, you will have a strong record of Scholarship in Learning and Teaching demonstrating innovation in curriculum design, implementation of teaching technology and support for students.

What You Will Lead
1. Academic Strategy and Innovation
Shape AIFE’s academic direction in response to sector trends and partner university needs
Lead innovation in curriculum design, assessment and digital pedagogy
Support the creation of new programs including Masters pathways and global education offerings
2. Full Cycle Curriculum Leadership
Lead programs through concept, design, TEQSA alignment, implementation, review and enhancement
Strengthen academic standards, assessment design and curriculum integrity
Drive renewal of Graduate Certificates and articulation programs
3. Academic Leadership and Teaching Excellence
Mentor Discipline Coordinators and teaching staff
Promote best practice approaches to teaching, learning and assessment
Support capability development across academic teams
Contribute to teaching and model high quality academic practice
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure programs meet TEQSA and ASQA requirements as well as partner university standards
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across academic disciplines
Support audits, reporting cycles and academic governance activities
Strengthen academic integrity practices and monitoring
5. Student Pathway and Partner Success
Improve student readiness and transition outcomes into partner universities
Enhance articulation maps and progression support
Maintain academic alignment with partner universities in China and globally
6. Engagement and Collaboration
Represent AIFE in academic committees and partner university meetings
Work collaboratively with Admissions, Registrar, Academic Operations and Quality and Compliance teams
Build strong academic relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
You are a passionate educator and experienced academic leader who values innovation and quality. You bring:
A doctorate qualification in a relevant field
A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to academic excellence
At least eight to ten years of higher education experience with curriculum leadership experience e.g. Program Manager role
Significant track record of innovation in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
Demonstrated experience managing the full cycle of curriculum development
Strong understanding of TEQSA requirements and academic governance
Experience with digital learning tools and assessment integrity
Leadership experience in teaching teams and transnational education settings
Excellent cross cultural communication skills including experience working with China based partners
A commitment to educational equity and student success
