AEMG Education is a global education company founded in Australia, specialising in international education and talent development. We foster cultural diversity, educational partnerships and research collaborations between universities in China and other countries. AEMG has established partnerships with over 70 educational institutions across China, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe and the USA.
The Academic Affairs division leads the overall design, delivery and quality assurance of AEMG’s academic programs. It oversees academic operations, student experience, and partner academic engagement, ensuring programs meet both internal and external academic and compliance standards. The Academic Affairs Division consists of the following departments:
Registrar Office
The Registrar Office oversees academic records, student registration, timetabling and course progression, ensuring academic administration aligns with partner university standards and regulatory compliance.
Cloud Campus
Cloud Campus is AEMG’s digital academic platform, supporting both online program delivery and integrated academic operations. The department is responsible for system development, digital pedagogy, platform support, content management & delivery.
Academic Operations
Academic Operations manages the implementation and coordination of academic programs across delivery locations, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning outcomes and alignment with global partner requirements.
Student Success
The Student Success team supports the learning journey and wellbeing of AEMG students through academic guidance, engagement initiatives and pastoral care, with a focus on retention, satisfaction and outcomes.
Graduate Institute
The Graduate Institute focuses on supporting graduates from AEMG programs. It builds alumni networks, develops pathways to further study or employment and facilitates transition into global opportunities.
Registered Training Organisation
The RTO division is a nationally recognised training body responsible for the delivery of vocational education and training (VET) programs. It ensures compliance with ASQA standards and industry requirements.
Quality & Compliance
The Quality & Compliance team ensures academic and regulatory compliance across all education delivery, managing audits, policy standards, partner agreements and risk controls to maintain academic integrity and accreditation.
The Business Success Manager is responsible for supporting the development, coordination and continuous improvement of initiatives that enhance the student journey across AEMG programs.
The role focuses on ensuring that students receive effective guidance, engagement opportunities and academic support that foster successful progression and outcomes.
Reporting to the Executive Director – Student Success, the position plays a key role in liaising with internal academic and operational teams to deliver support strategies aligned with institutional priorities and partner expectations. This includes developing support tools, tracking student engagement metrics, and supporting the delivery of key retention and wellbeing initiatives.
1. Student Retention & Lifecycle Continuity
▪ Monitor student progress across programs and ensure continuous engagement from initial enrolment to final program transition
▪ Identify and implement strategies to increase student retention and reduce attrition across all academic pathways
▪ Facilitate clear communication with internal teams to promote timely follow-up and academic support for students at risk of disengaging
2. Student Transfer Management & Partner Coordination
▪ Ensure seamless student transitions from AEMG programs into global partner university pathways
▪ Maintain strong partner relationships by ensuring accurate and timely transfer data, reporting and outcomes
▪ Monitor and manage student distribution across partners to avoid oversubscription or underrepresentation
3. Data Analysis & Business Metrics
▪ Analyse lead indicators related to student engagement, progression, transfers and partner satisfaction
▪ Identify emerging patterns, risks and opportunities from student and program data
▪ Provide regular reports to leadership and key stakeholders to support evidence-based decision-making
4. Business Alignment & Success Monitoring
▪ Collaborate with Student Success, Academic Operations, Registrar, Marketing and Engagement teams to align student movement with organisational objectives
▪ Monitor the alignment between business targets (e.g., partner intake numbers, program progression rates) and student outcomes
▪ Support leadership with the development of forecasts, dashboards and insights that drive strategic and operational improvements
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
▪ Work collaboratively across departments and regions to ensure consistent student experience and business continuity
▪ Liaise regularly with Program Managers, Engagement Teams and Partner Directors to track performance against success indicators
▪ Facilitate problem-solving and feedback loops to resolve bottlenecks in student progression or partner pathways
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 5 years working in student support or academic services within an international or higher education environment
Strong understanding of student development, retention and engagement frameworks
Demonstrated ability to manage student cases with sensitivity, confidentiality and cultural awareness
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across departments
Competence in using student management systems and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and tracking
Familiarity with supporting Chinese international students is desirable
Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional projects
