AEMG’s Business Development & Engagement Division

The Business Development & Engagement division leads AEMG’s strategic partnerships, global market expansion and student recruitment initiatives. It facilitates collaboration with education institutions across regions and drives international education outcomes through innovation and engagement. The Business Development & Engagement Division consists of the following departments:

Business Development

The Business Development department identifies new market opportunities, product partnerships and education models, and works to expand AEMG’s presence in global education markets through targeted initiatives and relationship management.

Business Operations

Business Operations supports the effective implementation of business engagement activities across programs and initiatives. The team oversees the internal coordination and provides cross-divisional marketing support to the Business Development & Engagement division while supporting the study worldwide program.

Regional Departments

The regional departments manage AEMG’s partnerships and operations across their respective regions, coordinating student recruitment, stakeholder engagement and academic relationships. The AEMG Business Development & Engagement regional departments are currently present across the following geographic regions:

About the Position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the planning, execution and optimisation of AEMG’s marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on digital campaigns, partner engagement and brand development. The role supports marketing strategy implementation across multiple channels and regions, contributing to student recruitment, brand awareness and partner relationships across AEMG’s global education network.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Business Operations and internal stakeholders, this position merges coordination duties with hands-on campaign execution and creative content development, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s goals and regional targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and implement targeted digital campaigns across social media, search and content platforms

  • Maintain and optimise AEMG’s online presence including web content, SEO, analytics and EDMs

  • Create and manage content calendars, email marketing schedules and digital lead funnels

  • Monitor performance data and contribute to marketing reports, suggesting adjustments to optimise ROI

2. Content Creation & Brand Communication

  • Assist in developing written, visual and video content for multiple channels including social, print and partner collateral

  • Ensure consistency with AEMG’s brand guidelines across internal and external marketing materials

  • Support the production of digital assets such as promotional brochures, presentations and video snippets for student recruitment and event use

3. Partnership Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with the Business Development and Recruitment teams to support regional and international partnerships through tailored marketing activities

  • Develop and maintain partner marketing kits, toolkits and co-branded collateral

  • Coordinate marketing efforts for joint programs, articulation pathways, and co-hosted events with partner institutions

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with university partners

  • Monitor partnership campaign outcomes and assist in reporting success metrics to internal stakeholders

  • Liaise with regional and international partners to coordinate joint marketing campaigns, content contributions and event participation

  • Coordinate testimonials, case studies and shared branding opportunities with partner institutions

4. Event & Project Support

  • Contribute to planning and promotional activities for student-facing events including open days, recruitment expos and webinars

  • Assist in the organisation of photography, filming and digital resource production

  • Coordinate marketing materials and logistics support across cross-departmental project

5. Administration & Asset Management

  • Maintain digital asset libraries, marketing templates and brand documents

  • Track campaign progress, budget spend and vendor deliverables where required

  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager and cross-functional collaboration with recruitment, academic and operations teams

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within international education or a transnational organisation

  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital marketing platforms including social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), EDM systems, and web CMS

  • Strong content development skills including copywriting, visual storytelling and video editing

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Highly organised with strong project coordination and administrative abilities

  • Familiarity with the Chinese student recruitment context and cross-cultural communications is highly desirable

  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp and Google Analytics
