ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EAP Master Teacher to join our Academic Operations team. This role plays a key part in coordinating and delivering English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs across our partner universities in China.

You will lead curriculum planning, support faculty development and ensure high-quality program delivery aligned with global academic standards. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence teaching practices and student outcomes across international campuses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Curriculum Management

  • Coordinate EAP teaching plans and ensure smooth delivery across branches

  • Maintain and update curriculum documents, syllabi and course outlines

  • Align EAP and Academic Content Workshop (ACW) content

  • Deliver EAP courses in emergency situations at partner universities

  • Support academic project development to enhance teaching practices

Faculty Coordination

  • Facilitate recruitment, induction and professional development of faculty

  • Guide educators in designing and delivering quality EAP programs

Student Support

  • Provide academic guidance to teachers and support student progress

  • Develop student support initiatives to enhance the international student experience

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Implement quality assurance mechanisms for EAP programs

  • Conduct teaching observations and program reviews

  • Analyse academic data to identify improvement opportunities

Other Duties

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Associate Executive Dean GI / Dean of CAL

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s or PhD in Education or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience in higher education

  • Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills

  • Understanding of Chinese and global education systems

  • Experience in curriculum design and academic program development

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and educational technologies
