The Academic Affairs division leads the overall design, delivery and quality assurance of AEMG’s academic programs. It oversees academic operations, student experience, and partner academic engagement, ensuring programs meet both internal and external academic and compliance standards. The Academic Affairs Division consists of the following departments:
Registrar Office
The Registrar Office oversees academic records, student registration, timetabling and course progression, ensuring academic administration aligns with partner university standards and regulatory compliance.
Cloud Campus
Cloud Campus is AEMG’s digital academic platform, supporting both online program delivery and integrated academic operations. The department is responsible for system development, digital pedagogy, platform support, content management & delivery.
Academic Operations
Academic Operations manages the implementation and coordination of academic programs across delivery locations, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning outcomes and alignment with global partner requirements.
Student Success
The Student Success team supports the learning journey and wellbeing of AEMG students through academic guidance, engagement initiatives and pastoral care, with a focus on retention, satisfaction and outcomes.
Graduate Institute
The Graduate Institute focuses on supporting graduates from AEMG programs. It builds alumni networks, develops pathways to further study or employment and facilitates transition into global opportunities.
Registered Training Organisation
The RTO division is a nationally recognised training body responsible for the delivery of vocational education and training (VET) programs. It ensures compliance with ASQA standards and industry requirements.
Quality & Compliance
The Quality & Compliance team ensures academic and regulatory compliance across all education delivery, managing audits, policy standards, partner agreements and risk controls to maintain academic integrity and accreditation.
The Student Success /Employment Manager plays a dual role in overseeing student support initiatives and coordinating the Study World Wide (SWW) program across AEMG. This role supports the enhancement of the student journey through engagement, wellbeing and retention strategies, while also ensuring the effective delivery of SWW programs that promote outbound mobility and academic enrichment.
Reporting to the Executive Director – Student Success, the role collaborates with academic, operational and partner stakeholders to provide a cohesive student experience, streamline support services, and manage the operational and logistical components of SWW programs.
1. Student Engagement & Success
▪ Develop and implement strategies to support student transition, retention and academic progression
▪ Coordinate orientation and onboarding programs across AEMG programs and delivery sites
▪ Promote student wellbeing through initiatives, events and support services that foster a strong sense of belonging
▪ Serve as a central point of contact for students requiring non-academic support and guidance
2. Academic Progress Monitoring
▪ Track and report on student attendance, performance and academic standing
▪ Contribute to the design and execution of early intervention strategies for at-risk students
▪ Collaborate with academic staff and program coordinators to ensure appropriate support mechanisms are in place
3. Study World Wide (SWW) Program Oversight
▪ Coordinate outbound Study World Wide programs, including program design, logistics and student engagement
▪ Liaise with global partners to co-develop academic and cultural immersion itineraries
▪ Manage the full lifecycle of the student mobility process—from registration and pre-departure briefings to post-program evaluations
Ensure that SWW programs align with AEMG’s academic standards, risk management protocols and operational policies
4. Employment & Graduate Outcomes
▪ Build and maintain partnerships with industry, universities and employers to create job placement and graduate program opportunities for AEMG students and alumni
▪ Support students in their transition from study to employment through career development activities, workshops and mentoring programs
▪ Collaborate with the Academic and Business Development teams to integrate employability into student journeys
5. Alumni Engagement & Network Development
▪ Develop and maintain alumni networks across AEMG programs to support graduate engagement, feedback and mentoring opportunities
▪ Lead alumni-focused initiatives, events and communications in collaboration with the Marketing and Student Success teams
▪ Leverage alumni insights to inform continuous improvement in academic programs and career services
6. Reporting, Data Management & Continuous Improvement
▪ Maintain accurate student engagement and graduate outcomes records
▪ Prepare and present reports on student success, SWW participation and employment metrics to internal stakeholders
▪ Contribute to internal reviews, audits and quality assurance processes
▪ Use data insights to identify service gaps and improve student support and employability initiatives
Bachelors degree in Education, Student Services, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years working in student support or academic services within an international or higher education environment
Strong understanding of student development, retention and engagement frameworks
Demonstrated ability to manage student cases with sensitivity, confidentiality and cultural awareness
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across departments
Competence in using student management systems and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and tracking
Familiarity with supporting Chinese international students is desirable
Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional projects
