We are seeking a Technology Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in maintaining our secure, efficient and reliable technology environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy professional who thrives on innovation, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional IT services. You will be joining a team of eight with some collaboration and co-ordination with our IT team members in China.

About the Role

As a Technology Operations Specialist, you will:

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AliCloud/AWS, Okta and CrowdStrike)

• Support and optimise enterprise applications (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, HRIS, LMS)

• Drive automation and integration through scripting and workflow design

• Provide responsive IT support across multiple regions and systems including but not limited to administering accounts, on-boarding and off-boarding employees, maintaining IT records, managing tickets and prioritising requests

• Managing and maintaining third party applications and tools

• Implement cybersecurity measures aligned with the Essential 8 framework

• Contribute to technology projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain supplier relationships as required

• Provide meetings and conferences support

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience

• 5+ years’ experience in ICT security and network administration

• Experience working within an education business would be highly advantageous

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/AliCloud, Azure) and Microsoft 365 environments

• Expertise in cybersecurity, network design, and incident response

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Industry certifications (Microsoft, AWS, ITIL) and security certifications (CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable

• Prior experience working with Managed Service Providers
